When I step into the gym, I have no problem figuring out what I am going to work out that day. I am not one who plans his workout schedule weeks in advance, instead, I go off how I feel from the previous day’s lifts.
Since I haven’t always been completely in-tune with my body, I want to help YOU. I want to help those who don’t have the background that I have. I remember days when I would arrive staring at the equipment and wonder what I needed to do on that day in order to achieve the physique I wanted.
To do my workout properly, focus is needed for each lift’s form which can be learned from the videos I included to help you. While there are many ways to achieve your goals, over my fifteen years of experience, I have come to realize that with more focus spent on every single movement, quicker results are achieved. This style also works well with the style of eating I have done for a year now, Intermittent Fasting.
The cherry on top of this way of working out is that more is accomplished with fewer lifts, so it isn’t necessary to spend more than an hour in the gym for any workout!
Start off with a light warm-up to get the blood flowing and light sweat going – this can be managed using a cardio machine or going over each exercise in that day’s workout but without weights and in a slow and controlled form. When I do this, I visualize each muscle group engaging in the lift that I’m working on, thinking about what my body is doing. I do a set of twenty repetitions, per each lift.
Once warmed up, I begin the lifts. The best way to describe the lifts is to do them in a steady “circuit” that is stable and isn’t fast-paced – going from one lift to the next, with as much break needed in-between each lift.

The duration of the session from the warm-up to the end of the workout should be approximately sixty minutes. As for weights, work your way up each circuit rotation as needed. The repetition range I manage throughout my workouts is between 3- 8 repetitions per lift.
